Doing things

Your Mac & apps

Settings, health, internet, apps, windows, workspaces, Shortcuts and Terminal.

Settings and health

“Turn on dark mode”“Set the volume to 30”“Turn off Wi-Fi”“How is my Mac doing?”“Is my internet working? Run a speed test”

Apps and windows

“Which apps are open?”“Quit Chrome and Slack”“Hide everything except Xcode”“Put Safari and Notes side by side”“Maximize this window”

Quitting asks first, and apps still show their own “save changes?” prompts.

Workspaces

A workspace remembers the apps you have open, their documents and window positions, and your browser tabs.

“Save my setup as Coding”“Open my Coding workspace”

Shortcuts and Terminal

“Which Shortcuts do I have?”“Run my Focus shortcut”“Show git status for all repos in ~/Desktop”

For anything else, Orbix can run a Terminal command — you always see the exact command and approve it first. It never uses sudo and never deletes with rm.
